Dr. Strange grew up in rural Virginia, where her interest in dentistry began early in high school. She headed south to attend Clemson University, where she became involved in dental mission trips and organizations. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biological Studies, she attended James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
After receiving her DMD, she pursued a specialty degree and was accepted in the Endodontic residency at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The three-year program gave her the opportunity to serve countless local residents as well as attend international dental trips with the Tar Heel Endodontic Association. She was able to present her master’s thesis research at the American Association of Endodontics annual meeting. Upon completion of the program she received her Endodontic Certificate as well as a Masters in Endodontics. She is currently board eligible for the American Board of Endodontics and is a member of both national and local organized dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Strange can be found enjoying any outdoor activity with her husband, Tyler and their chocolate lab, Sully. She enjoys watching Clemson football, working out, riding beach cruisers, and being anywhere on or near the water. Dr. Strange and her family are so excited to be calling Charleston home again and she cannot wait to begin serving the Lowcountry community!
