Dr. Geoffrey Stuart Steinkruger was born in Marietta, OH, and raised in Florence SC. He attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC graduating with a bachelor of science in Biology. Following graduation he attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. After earning his DMD degree, Dr. Steinkruger completed a General Practice Residency at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. He was in private practice in Charleston, SC for two years, then enrolled at The Ohio State University School of Dentistry where he received a Master’s of Science and certificate as a specialist in endodontics. He has been practicing in Charleston since 2004 and feels privileged to call the Lowcountry his home.
As a proud husband and father, Dr. Steinkruger enjoys sharing life with his wife and son. Dr. Steinkruger has many interests outside of endodontics, including being actively involved at St. Andrews Church in Mt. Pleasant, spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing guitar, watching college football, and getting outside, either hunting, fishing, or hiking.
